Look What Matthew Can Do

This is how I found Matthew when I went to get him up this morning! During the night that little guy must have learned how to pull himself up to stand in his crib! I guess we're ready for new adventures with Matthew getting into things! He can crawl anywhere in the house. Today while I made the kids' lunch, he crawled all the way into the big kids' bedroom & I couldn't find him! My mom says she doesn't think Matthew will ever learn to walk, he'll just go straight to running. I'm beginning to think she's right! I just hope I have enough energy to keep up with him!

Matthew's First Haircut

Today I took Matthew to Cool Cuts 4 Kids for his first haircut. What a fun place! There's a tv at each station and the older kids can even play X-Box while they get their haircut. Matthew was so good while the lady cut his hair. He was so cooperative. (The fact that he had Blue's Clues on right in front of him probably helped.) He didn't even cry until the very end! He looks so handsome and grown up now! Here are a few before and after pictures of my little man!

How Did You Know?

I just noticed that Tyler had green marker on his face and asked him, "Tyler, did you draw a mustache on your face with your marker?"

Totally mystified, he replied, "How did you know?"

Hmmm, let me think about that for a minute... it must be my magical mom powers! The best part about this is that he did not use a washable marker. It was a dry-erase marker. I hope it washes off before he has to go to school tomorrow!
